Choose the support that fits
All three school packages include unlimited helpdesk support, proactive monitoring and emergency callouts. The difference is how often a technician is on site.
Drift School Support
Our most comprehensive package. Your dedicated technician visits weekly or fortnightly in term time, for a set number of hours you choose, to carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting. Regular visits mean they get to know your staff, your systems and your priorities, so there’s always a familiar face to answer IT questions.
Flexi
Designed for smaller schools, or those with their own in-house technician. Your technician visits once each half term, for a duration you choose, to carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting, with the helpdesk on hand in between.
Flexi Plus
The same flexible approach with twice the onsite time: two technician visits each half term, for a duration you choose, backed by the same helpdesk team.
Trust-wide contracts
Looking after several schools? We can bring every school in your trust under one contract, with one point of contact and the same reliable support across them all.

More from our schools
Frequently asked questions
How often will a technician visit our school?
With Drift School Support, your dedicated technician visits weekly or fortnightly during term time, for the number of hours you choose. With Flexi, they visit once each half term, and with Flexi Plus, twice each half term.
What happens if something goes wrong between visits?
Every package includes unlimited access to our helpdesk, Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00. You can report issues by phone, email or our online ticketing system, and we resolve them remotely wherever possible. Anything that needs further work after a visit is passed straight to the helpdesk team.
What if our server or network fails completely?
A total server or network infrastructure failure is treated as an emergency, and we send a technician onsite as a priority. Emergency callouts are included in every package, with the first hour of each callout covered at no extra cost.
How long are your support contracts?
All of our support packages are available on one-year or three-year contracts.
Can you work alongside our own technician?
Yes. Our Flexi and Flexi Plus packages are designed for schools with their own in-house technician, as well as for smaller schools, and include the same unlimited helpdesk support.
Do you support Arbor?
Yes. We’re an Arbor Accredited Partner, so we can provide first-line support for your Arbor MIS as part of your support package, and supply your Arbor licences.
Are your technicians DBS checked?
Yes. All of our technicians hold enhanced DBS checks, which we renew at least every three years.
Can you help with our annual filtering and monitoring review?
Yes. Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) asks schools to review their filtering and monitoring at least once each academic year, led by a senior leader with support from IT. We’ll help you carry out the review and keep a record that it’s been done.
Can you help us meet the DfE digital and technology standards?
Yes. We work to the DfE’s digital and technology standards in everything we install. We’ll look at where your school is now against the core standards, such as broadband, wireless, cyber security and filtering and monitoring, and plan a realistic route there that fits your budget.
Can you help us prepare for Martyn’s Law?
Yes. Martyn’s Law means schools with 200 or more people on site need procedures for lockdown, evacuation, invacuation and communication. We can install lockdown alert systems and make sure the technology side of your plan is ready. More about meeting the standards.
